I have always envied illustrators and the site Women Who Draw has tantalized me ever since I stumbled upon it. It’s also a constant reminder that I still regret my hasty creative redirect in college – going from an illustration major to a graphic design major for the thrill of pulling all-nighters in the design department with my friends.
I am very content as an art director and designer, but there has always been an aura of eccentricity about independent illustrators. I can now indulge myself with beautifully crafted eye-candy using a single click, and will someday be able to commission an illustration. I hope you enjoy this thoughtfully-curated, global collective of brilliant artists!
