Designing for good

OVERVIEW

There is just one beautiful vision that guides me: “Building the Beloved Community” — and it’s really all I need to create promotions and support graphics for this very genuine, Seattle-based non-profit that works for the good-of-all-people.

NON-PROFIT

CHALLENGE

Stronger than ever, even after 45 long years, this Beacon Hill non-profit has never wavered from their original goal of working to achieve social justice for people of all races. My challenge is to support their creative needs with a range of creative solutions for fund-raising and event promotions.

RESULTS

Over the past 7 years I’ve seen the organization grow and widen it’s impact on the community and I know that my creative work has helped to contribute to a greater awareness of their good work. I met El Centro as a designer with the original Taproot Foundation grant in 2010, and I have continued to help evolve their brand.

REWARDS

What better bonus for a designer — collaborating with generous, gifted people who make a big difference in our world.
